Hi Guys
Hope this is thee right topic, Have a question. Just saw a picture from a F4-Phantom above or in the landing at LWD. No callsign or good readable serials. Who's air-defense has still F4-'s? Read something about Japan, but somewhere i have in mind that Israel should have some of these things.
The visit was on LWD, so maybe it was with the open days>?
Hope to hear
Grt, Jonnie

Re: F4-Phantom question
Guessing LDW means Leeuwarden it will most likely have been a german or greek, or a bit more exotic, turkey. Israel and Japan are very unlikely. You could try to compare the camo paint job if it is clearly visible in the pic with other pics on the internet.

Re: F4-Phantom question
Germany, Japan, Turkey, South-Korea, Iran and Greece still fly the F4's (USAF is cheating with the QF-4 for the heritage flights ) and Israel has dropped the F4 some time ago ...
Adios, H.
p.s. The F4's on LWD are 99% sure Germans
