It's the former KLu F27-300M C-7 (10157).

The only problem with C-9 is that this aircraft was scapped a few years back at Woensdrecht.
Serial C-9 on the instrumemt panel does not make it the correct serial for the aircraft.
Do you check the c/n plate itself? This is mounted on the left side just before you enter the cockpit.

I read this as if the c/n is checked, so from the c/n plate (where else from?) The serial is not only read from the instument panel, given the word also, but that panel is just mentioned as further confirmation the hull is really C-9. (just an idea: might C-9 be scrapped until the condition it is now in at De Kooy?)frllynx wrote:Hello,
Today I checked the hull of the F27. C/n 10159 serial C-9, the serial was also seen on various locations on the instrument panel.

Hello,
I just wanted to be sure about the id of the aircraft.
Serials read from (removable) panels have lead to errors in the past.
Also I had reliable information that the C-9 was scrapped at WOE and
only some bits remained.
But if you have read 10159 from its c/n plate, then it sure looks like C-9.

Otger

Mentioned F-27 hull is on a lorry right now and will, probably, be moved this afternoon.
No idea about destination or route.
Greetz,
Hans.
