Axalp 2009
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Nice pics. It also was my first time @Axalp this year, no snow indeed but perfect weather on wednesday. I heard the show was cancelled for thursday. What a place. This has to be on your done that list ! Very impressive. Personally I was more impressed by the morning practice (more flying too). Amazing atmosphere, nice people, and the ablösungen.... fantastic.

Re: Axalp 2009
I think Robert's photos show a lot of action, but they simply lack too much in focus and they're very dark.
Michel's are better, imho.

Stephan

Re: Axalp 2009
I like the first shots of Jeroen and Michel. Especially the one from Jeroen where it looks like the wings are on fire.
Here are some of mine of wednesday.
The weather was really good but unfortunately a lot of backlight as a result, and no snow on mountain slopes makes it a bit less impressive.

Agree on this, although I think it's even better if you make it a bit darker / underexposed.Spooky wrote:Hi Robert,
