Hi,
I was in a hotel in Gondorf this weekend for the 1. European Seat Meeting in Bitburg. I had a room in hotel Terra Ventura, room Amsterdam 20 which overlooked the platform. It was just a bit to far to read numbers, although i manneged to get 1.
At 13:30 only a quick look at the platform. Could see 4 (C-5 and C-17) but had no time to look closely. I do know that there was 1 C-17 at hot cargo.
At 19:20:
C-5 ..... Blue tailband
C-5 ..... Travis
C-5 ..... Travis
C-17 77..4 Dover (was this 77174?)
CC-177 17770. Canada (i thought i read 177702, but i'm not sure due to heatwaves)
Any help with the gaps is appreciated.
TIA
SKUNK

Hi Skunk,
I could found the following for you according the SBS-1 logs that day:
AE0575 RCH6024 86-0024 C5 60thAMW --- 2009-08-28 13:02:53.073
AE0587 -------- 87-0042/86-0011 C5 21stAS/60thAMW --- 2009-08-28 06:06:59.783
AE057A 87-0029 RCH538 2009-08-28 07:50:26.968 C-5B United States 436thAW Offenbach, DE
The CC-177 was probably 177701 as it was logged on the 26th and the 29th in the German area.
Hope this helps,
Maurits
