Hello,
I'am planning to go to Reims on friday
and saturday. Unfortunately I can't visit the
spottersday but I was wondering if it is
worthwhile to try it outside the fence without
getting trouble from the gendamerie.
Also I would like to visit the arrival day of Waddington
and was wondering if it is also possible to spot without
problems on this day.
If you could give me some info on what is possible
or not I would appreciate it verry much.
Regards,
Ronald N.

Re: REQ Info Reims-Waddington
A few years ago the rule at arrival day at Waddington was only in a Park &View like enclosure on the base including an amount of GBPs. The special spottersplace was closed completely, stopping cars there were forbidden and parked cars were pulled away.Wellhead wrote:Also I would like to visit the arrival day of Waddington

I am also going friday, but unfortunately not to the spottersday. And yes, you can make good pictures outside the fence.
Gendarmerie is always a surprise. If they come ( and i think on this day they will...): stay friendly and polite: we are free, they are working...
Good spotting to us!
