D-665 CH-47D 298 Squadron
This Chinook with the name "Christine" landed on a field next to the hockey fields to bring Ellen ten Damme and 100% Isis. The grassfield (landings zone) was full of "sheep-=censored=" which is offcourse not a nice sight for the visiting artist
. When the Chinook landed the downwash created a strong blast of grass, sand and dust. Some advertising billboards which were mounted on the fence unfortunatly did not survive the Chinook's landing .... After the Chinook departed an Alouette III brought some VIP's.
A-292 Alouette III 300 Squadron
This helicopter left about 15 to 20 minutes after landing to Geilenkirchen for refuelling. After that it will come back to Roermond. The Alouette will depart again around 16.00 hr.
