A ceremony was held at AgustaWestland in Yeovil on Friday, where the new names for the Future Lynx were unveiled.
The Future Lynx has been renamed the AW159 by the company, while at the same ceremony Lieutenant General Andrew Figgures, Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff, announced that the aircraft’s service name in the UK military would be the "Lynx Wildcat".
