In what seems to be very similar to circumstances in the TK accident, a Qantas B737-800 on approach to Sydney had it's right radar altimeter give a false reading while at 150ft, causing the autopilot to disconnect and thrust to reduce to idle. The crew intervened, and landed safely.
Interestingly in this case, it was the RH altimeter gave a false reading. In the Turkish accident, it was the LH altimeter at fault.
The ATSB are investigating, so I'll be following this investigation closely.
