With a printed copy of Scramble, you have access to our guide here: http://www.scramble.nl/airports/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . There are photo spots at both approaches, and some along the SE perimeter for alternative angles. Security AFAIK usually no problem if you keep your distance to the fence.

Hi,
At the east side, reached by Binsfeld village- you can take a road to the forest. Park your car there, follow the base -perimeter, walk around 500meters- and you can take pics at the runway23 side.
Be aware of patrolling German police if you take the road from Binsfeld to the forest (formally it is a closed road) but.... if you take the road out of Binsfeld into the base-perimeter direction, follow this along the fence, go right and up on the hill left than you didn't find any sign it should be a forbidden road..(Anlieger frei!)
Good luck!
Regards,
Maurits
