According to the latest newsletter of EHKD, there are plans to reopen a scheduled service from April 2009. Operator will be Highland Airways.
According to their website http://www.highlandairways.co.uk their fleet consists:
5x Jetstream 31
2x Jetstream 41
1x Islander
2x Cessna F406

Although they think there is enough potential to fly this service, (as with the service to Norwich) plans are on hold for the time being. There are no slots available as the oil-companies think they will need all available slots for flights to their platforms.
