Hi,
Today when the Polish Migs did not arrive, we then waited for the Germa AF F-4Fs to go over which they did. One cell only on northern section of 3 with KC-10 86-0033. They split from the tanker over Scotland and continued as Retro 41-43 home. The KC-10 continued over Eastern England and Netherlands to Spangdahlen.
Can anyone hep with their serials please?
Regards

Hi,
Thanks for replies guys. Firstly the callsign was definitely Retro as we did not know what to expect to hear but we got a lot of two-way radio as they split from the tanker. They were clear as a bell on 251.475 in the overhead.
I believe that we saw the northern cell and a southerly routed second cell did not come near Scotland. So if anyone can split the callsigns up that would be great as I only need to see one of them - 38+54.
Oscar, when the KC-10 split he asked for a routing which took him SAB-ERLOT-CBY-MAM and he and Scottish Control discussed his handover to Ducth Airspace Control. He clearly said his destination was ETAD so that was the intention as far as we heard up here. Hope this helps, stay well.
