Hi all,

As I wrote in the "Disbandment of EC1/30 Colmar" topic, the Defence White Book gives some elements but not all, the Adla will severely restructurate, and we are waiting for the publication of the airbases closure...

To answer your question, the "Gascogne" should be the second Rafale squadron at St Dizier (nuclear) and will received the traditions of Escadrilles SAL28, SPA78 and BR66.

Last info at the moment, the "Vexin" (Djibouti) will be replaced by the EC "Corse".

On July 1st, the DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement) has given green light for the Rafale F3 standard, latest standard of the aircraft, which will equipped EC Gascogne at St-Dizier, at the beginning of 2009.
The F3 standard will give to the fighter, anti-ship (AM-39 Exocet), nuclear (ASMPA), and recce capabilities.

Hello Tintin,

I'm wondering is the use of 113 (in the code, the St.Dizier Base number) instead of 7 new. And do all EC chance to these new codes?
Just wondering (as I mentioned).

Greetings,
Pieter

Yes Pieter,

As mentionned here:

All ECs (to become ESTAs) should use the new codification.

And after the Gascogne...the Normandie-Niémen will be the third Adla Rafale squadron, at Mt-de-Marsan.
