Hello All,

Below is the result of some spotting-fun in two days of pooring rain
in the north of Italy. Main goal was ofcourse the open day at Casarsa
and this was a smashing succes for the number crunchers! Not for the
photographers ...

We flew in with reasonably priced Ryanair on Treviso on Friday-
evening and departed early on Saturday-morning to search for some
W&R. With a little bit of homework (reading EMOOS) most of the
locations are easily found in connection with Google Earth/Live Maps
and so you can do a lot of them in one day.

All serials in brackets (-) were looked up in EMOOS or taken from
pictures off internet.

You can see both aircraft from one location; GE: N 45 38 41, E 12 11 52
The location is in the town of Canizzano on the south side of the
airport. Drive into the street 'Via Mure', next to the Carabinieri
(14 Nucleo Elicotteri) gate, from the road 'Via di Canizzano'. After
about 300 metres park your car when the road makes a sharp turn to
the left. To your right is a chain with a sign 'private property',
just step over it and walk about 50 metres. To your right is a wall
and behind is the G91. It wears no code, the MM was not visible
through plants and it looked like it had just received a fresh paint
of coat. If you look towards the river you can see the AMX-
maintenance center and in front of it is the special color AMX. The
AMX can not be seen from the civil side.

There was also a bagged 'Huey' near the Vigili Del Fuoco hangar. It
had a red 'fintip' and was single-engined so this is probably a VF
