Hi,
in a few days, I will go to Slovenia. Since it will be the first time, I have (only) three questions regarding spotting there:
1. The most obvious one, is spotting tolerated there or not? Especially, since Ljubliana is a joint civil/military airport!
2. Are any other detachments for the summer-saison of, for example the Pumas or AB-412, to expect and if yes, on which airports/airfields?
3. Except in Ljubliana, are the police helis, anywhere else based?
That´s it! Thank you very much, for taking the time to read this, and maybe to answer
Many greetings
Marcus

I was at Ljubljana 2 years ago; no problem for spotting whatsoever, although I'm not sure about taking pictures. They even have a panorama deck which can be reached as follows; leaving the terminal go to the right, after a small walk you see a metal staircase on your righthand side which leads up and over the terminal building to offer a view on the platform and runway.
Leaving the terrace again by the stairs, you can see a preserved Adria DC6 almost straight ahead.
Hope this helps

Spotting at LJLJ
Hello
In July 2000,I was able to visit the Slovenian AF area by asking at the gate and then being given a short no-notice tour.
However since 9/11 this is probably not possible.
If you have the use of a car,you can go to the opposite side of the field and view into the air force area. There should be no problem doing this.
