Assume it's F27 TC-MBE, stored since Jan 2007 (w/o, will be used for spares)Chris Delvaux wrote:Request:

Hiya all,
in addition to the remark from Bokkum a more or less complete log from 12/07/08:
TC-MBB F.27-500F 10660 MNG Cargo
TC-MBD F.27-500F 10531 MNG Cargo
SP-KPO SF.340A(F) 010 SpiritAir
G-TMRB S.360-100 3690 (BAC Express)
(TC-MBE) F.27-500RF 10639 fus std MNG Cargo
G-BUKJ ? ATP 2052 Std MagicBird
(LN-FOL) L.188A(F) 1116 fus. std DHL/Olsen
N2RK L.188C(PF) 2010 std Reeve Illusion
(N9744C) L.188A(PF) 1140 std Reeve Aleutian
Again, the Magicbird ATP was not read, bu presumed G-BUKJ since this one was parked in the storage-corner. G-BTPL is supposed to still be active.
Best regards,
Rene

Hi Chris & Rene & Everybody
I was at CVT on 10Jul08.
The Magic Bird Cargo ATP stored behind the AAG hangars is definitely G-BTPL, as its name "Brandon" was positively identified by me. If I correctly recall it, TC-MBE and LN-FOL were not just fuselages but had their wings still attached (most of their wings, for that matter!). The only Reeve Electra I saw was N4HG, the other with Reeve Illusion titles was gone.
An unidentified Electra cockpit in old DHL colours was noted, any ideas? Also, I need the reg of a Shorts 360 with a turquoise cheat line which had its tail sticking out of an AAG hangar. And last, the opposite hangar contained some wings marked 'AC'. Again, any ideas?
The obligatory visit to the excellent museum produced 3 queries:
1. a tail section in the storage compound, possibly an F-86 with the serial ending in '0'
2. a glider with uncovered structure (no fabric) stored in the MiG hangar
3. a heli in the MiG hanger (not the Flettner frame)
Other interesting stuff:
G-CLOS PA34 (low apch)
G-BUUP ATP Atlantic AL
TC-MBH F27 MNG Cargo
TC-MBD F27 MNG Cargo
G-CDSX Canberra T.4 'VN799'
G-DHVM Venom FB.50 'WR470'
G-APSA DC6 British Eagle col.
G-ANAF DC3 red/black col.
G-AMRA DC3 ClassicFlight.com tit.
N347DK DC3 green c/l
G-BTPG ATP white col.
G-IONA ATR42 white col. 'EE' on nose gear door
G-VIPX PA31 Capital Aviation
That's all for now. Any supplementary info highly appreciated!
