I will tell you: Mark does a great job in case of Moron "Coronet East" logs! He supported me again and again to document F-16 OIF deployments to Balad AB, Iraq, for my Balad topic on http://www.f-16.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. And I wish that his topic get the same attention like the Lajes 2008 topic.
Hi, Mark! Any stop over logs for a swap of F-15E Strike Eagles at Bagram AB, Afghanistan? According to latest USAF news, the 336th EFS must be replaced by the 335th EFS (both from the 4th FW, Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina). I would be very grateful for any support!
Note: EFS = Expeditionary Fighter Squadron

F-16s at Moron
About 18 F-16s should be on deck in Moron deploying eastbound. Any ideas which unit they come from?
They should be replacing the 52nd FW Vipers in Balad later this week.

Elements of the 77th FS, 20th FW (ACC), Shaw AFB, are on their way to Balad AB, Iraq, as 77th EFS for the upcoming AEF 3/4 (Cycle 7) rotation (May - August 2008). More than 200 Airmen from the 20th FW are deploying to Southwest Asia to support the Global War on Terrorism. Already on May 22, 2008, 77th FS personnel left Shaw AFB aboard a chartered airliner, equipment was loaded aboard a C-5A Galaxy from the 337th AS, Westover ARB. more F-16s at Moron
A number of F-16s should be on their way to Moron soon for a deployment in eastern Europe.
As long-awaited - now also the ANG F-16 fighter package at Balad AB will be replaced for USAF´s AEF 3/4 (Cycle 7) rotation (May - August 2008)! Re: more F-16s at Moron
It seems that 10 CONUS-based Vipers are on their way to Bulgaria in the next few days.
Any confirmation or news on this deployment? Does not seem to be an AEF-related coronet.

This morning, the new ANG F-16C fighter package for USAF´s AEF 3/4 (Cycle 7) rotation (May - August 2008) left Hancock Field ANGB, N.Y., for Balad AB! For more details please check page 76 of the topic "Balad Air Base Deployment Update" on F-16.net: http://www.f-16.net/f-16_forum_viewtopic-t-4207.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
According to a private contact, yesterday evening twelve Vipers of the new ANG F-16C fighter package for USAF´s AEF 3/4 (Cycle 7) rotation (May - August 2008) arrived at Moron AB, Spain. As "The Post-Standard" reported, fourteen jets left Hancock Field ANGB, N.Y. on Tuesday morning between 5:50 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., according to a unit spokeswoman. Two of the jets must be air spares. After a 24-hour break, according to AP, they should be departing to Balad AB on Thursday. At least currently no serial numbers are known.
