Just one small addition to the Martin Schroder editorial, a bit pedantic I admit, B747, B767, A320.... hardly earth shatteringly notable. But, back in 1971 (from memory) when ELAL were short of 'planes at the busy Passover season, they chartered a Martinair DC-8 Srs55CF on which Mr Starman & family flew (again, not sure if it was E/B or W/B) to Israel (in the passenger config).
