Places I know for sure :

- Place du Trône, in front of the ING building, is looking good. Usually not too much crowd, and no sun nor high buildings in front when making photos in the direction of the défilé.
- Esplanade du Cinquantenaire (close to Army Museum and Autoworld) is a good spot but the sun may disturb you as in recent years, the position of the flying défilé is a bit to the south of Cinquantenaire park.
- Place Poelaert gives a good sight in the direction of the arriving aircraft but expect some crowd as exhibitions and multiple activities take place between there and Place des Palais. The aircraft won't be as close as from the other places so a good lens is needed.
- avenue de Tervueren, around Montgomery square is also nice, but the sun may be partially in front. From this spot, expect the aircraft to be closer to you.

all those places are easy to reach by subway (driving and parking for cars may be difficult, at least around Poelaert and place du Trône).

Good luck !

I noticed in an earlier post in this topic that the 3 A400's were also noted at KB. Any info if they are flying from KB agian during the defilé today?

Any info on how many KB F-16's will be involved would also be appreciated.

Fabio

I was at Place du Trône. The formations did not fly over the Place du Palais as usual, but a little to the South. And they all followed different tracks. So the effect was, together with a 8/8 low overcast, bluntly lousy pictures.
