In the evening of June 20th, while returning from Air Defender 23 at Schleswig & Hohn, both known gateguards ('A-603' & E-177) were noted.
A second F-16 was noted between the main gate and the terminal, which, according to the W&R App should have been E-182.
Both are reported in the Scramble DB having been modified to AM standard. Unfortunately this could not be confirmed.
In the shelter area in the South Eastern corner of the base a third F-16(A/AM?) was noted (visible in current GE imagery).
Is there anyone who has a clue of her identity?

Until 14.8. Fighter Wing operations are hampered by the vacation times with only few daily F-16 operations.

On 1.10. the first F-35A will have it’s introduction celebration. This date, a Sunday, was chosen due to the Flyvevåbnet‘s founding date, October 1st, 1950.

The first three or four F-35As are awaited some days earlier to be certain they are on base for the celebration day.

Time will tell how the combined F-16/F-35 daily flying will be in the next few years.

In late September four F-35A are planned to arrive at the base.

Obviously Denmark recognized that 27 F-35A are too few fighter airrafts in the current situation. The Folketing is obviously discussing plans to aquire up to another dozen Lightning II. If this could lead in the future to the late two-squadron fighter wing is not known yet.

Dropped by Skrydstrup last june and was almost immediately told that photography is no longer allowed. I stood next to the (former?) civil terminal but the restriction is all around the airfield. The arrival of the new F-35 and new construction works are the main reason for this.

Do you know this for shure? I know that on the civil site and near hangars and buildings it was already forbidden long time ago. But also on both approaches?

Obviously nothing has changed, at all spots away from the approaches it is not allowed to take pictures. You can still take pictures in the air, but NOT on the runway or taxiways. This was mentioned once or twice here in the last years.

Everyone who do not accept this rules will be send away.

Same thing as you try to enter the farmland near the fences at Leeuwarden during Frisian Flag.
