Req: HL’s @ ETAD
Are the HL Lightnings still at Spang?
Adsb showed some missions above Poland out of Spang, so my guess is they are still in Germany.
Wnat to know for sure, because otherwise it’s not worth the drive

Re: Req: HL’s @ ETAD
One flight landed at Spang around 10:00 LT today (on ADS-B) after a 4-hour mission over Poland.
However 6 of the F-35s are now forward deployed in the Baltic States, and others may be in Romania, if a report on the BBC is correct.

Re: Req: HL’s @ ETAD
A post on Instagram seems to indicate 2 more recently left to the FOL so my assumption is 4 are currently at Spangdahlem, but hopefully some locals can confirm?
Rome has Bufalotta, Arizona has alotta BUFF..
Re: Req: HL’s @ ETAD
a number came back yesterday, it seems 10 are currently at spang. 3x 2 (at least) flew today. Still looking for the numbers of the 2 that dept shortly after 1530....

Re: Req: HL’s @ ETAD
We still missing the first one from last Thursday the 24th
Being able to identify the second from our photo, 17-5237
The second two minutes later:
19-5478/HL and 17-5254/HL
Half hour later third two took off. From pictures of a frenchman: 5539 and 5483
Hope some one, maybe our Frenchman from St.Dizier, can help us with the missing one.
Thanks in advance

Lightning Bolts to NATO's Baltic Flank
United States Air Force F-35 Lightning II fifth generation fighters from RAF Lakenheath have repositioned to Estonia and Lithuania to support NATO Allied Air Command's Enhanced Air Policing mission in the #BalticSea region.
The most advanced jets within U.S. European Command (EUCOM) have replaced the recent deployment of Hill Air Force Base's 388th Fighter Wing F-35s, which have redeployed to Spangdahlem Air Base.
U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa's ability to support and integrate with NATO’s air policing missions continually strengthens the alliance’s solidarity, collective resolve, and ability to adapt to a dynamic warfighting environment.

Re: Req: HL’s @ ETAD
Word at the fence was that 4 returned on Sunday, so that would add up to 10.wittemuizen wrote: ↑01 Mar 2022, 12:42 Nice, thanks! And those were all 8 different one's?

There were 4 flights of 2 airframes throughout the day on Monday, of which 1 was a local flight, with at least 6 confirmed different airframes.
The third flight at 15:45 was not read during departure and did not return during daylight. On another forum it was mentioned that this flight used the airframes of the flight which arrived earlier that day.
Re: Req: HL’s @ ETAD
Serials of the F-35s that flew mondayafternoon were on this forum shortly.
Can’t find them anymore though. Any help would be appreciated.
