Re: EHTW 30-08-2021
Which is no wonder, considering the weather. Even today it's marginal for (biz)jets and the previous days were much worse.
FYI, the cloud base needs to be at least at 3000ft for this kind of flights to meet the criteria for an approach into EHTW.
KNMI forecast for today:
BEWOLKING: SCT/BKN CU/SC 2000-3000 VT EN VELDEN BKN SC 3000-4500 VT.
That means a fair chance of not being able to (visually, according procedures) approach legally, so it seems a wise decision to reschedule to an airport with instrument approaches.

Re: EHTW 30-08-2021
Earlier this month there were multiple rescheduled flights on sunny days with CAVOK weather, which aren’t typical for EHTW. Could’ve been a coincidental passenger request/ decision or something else.Key wrote: ↑30 Aug 2021, 14:38 Which is no wonder, considering the weather. Most of us are still patiently waiting for the introduction of a GPS/ RNAV approach at Twente
