Re: Prora (Ruegen Island), Germany
They are expanding the collection! Last year they only had the two exhibits inside plus the An-2 outside (which is painted as NVA but is civil only by the way). Would be interesting to know the identities of the Mi-2 and Mi-8!

Re: Prora (Ruegen Island), Germany
Maybe we have to look again to the Technikpark at Grimmen for answers.
They were displaying IL.14 SP-LNG as DM-SAD and a green Mi-2 (HA-BCI ex 94+81) together with a green An-2 (LY-ADM).
The An-2 has previously been reported on this site as moving to the Prora museum and its colours indeed match the colours of the An-2 now shown on the NVA-Museum website, down to the un-repainted prop.
The Tecknikpark had also taken delivery of a Mi-8 in recent times...

Re: Prora (Ruegen Island), Germany
I checked my notes, the An-2 is indeed LY-ADM in fake NVA c/s.
The Mi-8 that went to Grimmen recently is 93+75, combined with your other remarks it seems very plausible the Mi-2, Mi-8 and Il-14 indeed all came from Grimmen!
