Another storm is headed for the south coast of the USA. Headed straight for New Orleans and is expected to be a Cat 4 by the time it makes landfall.
I will try to update this as the evacs happen but to date the following has boogied out of their homebase.
VFA-204 and 122 FS (LA ANG) from NAS New Orleans to NAS Fort Worth JRB, TX.
C-130's from Keesler AFB to Kelly AFB, TX.
C-17's from the MS ANG, 183 AS at Jackson IAP went into Alliance AP, TX.
T-1's from NAS Pensacola to Tampa IAP, FL.
USAF T-6's from NAS Pensacola to Tamp IAP, FL and another airfield near Tampa. Could be that all showed up at Tampa IAP but before arriving here made an approach elsewhere.
NAVY T-6's also escaped NAS Pensacola. Not positive where these ended up.
CV-22's and AC/MC-130's from Hurlburt Field AFB went into NAS Fort Worth JRB, TX.
