Is the base already on holiday (meaning: will there be no other flying activity Thursday)? Today (Monday) it was awfully quiet at least.

Veld is dicht tot 4 januari, alleen open voor de Waddenheli.
NOTAM voor de 24e is verdwenen, dus het is niet duidelijk of de aflevering nog door gaat

Notam M3594 states that the AD is CLSD from December 21 until December 31. But item D) states 21-23 and 28-31. Does this not imply that the AD may be open on the 24th as the 24th is not an official holiday or weekend day?

De oude NOTAM over de openingstijden van de 24e was nieuwer dan die jij noemt.
Na het verwijderen van de NOTAM van de 24e met een openingstijd van 1 uurtje zijn er 2 opties: 1. ze zijn vergeten M3594 aan te passen of 2. het veld is nu de 24e de gehele dag open

Fighter sound just over Zwolle heading for Leeuwarden, I think F-015 is almost home.

And just confirmed (source several Facebook pictures) , after a low approach F-015 arrived, the 7th F-35A at Leeuwarden.
