RAF Typhoons - photo heavy - edited 3/10

Post by gold »

Just killing time recently, due to some covid19 issues, and I stumbled into a lack of intrest in the Eurofighter Typhoon, of EF2000 or F2000. Not surprisingly of course, it replaced some real aircraft this plastic fantastic aircraft. The lack of intrest was totally on my side, I just took an picture of them when they appeared in front of my lens. The same with the German ones.

The reason I started to see what I had shot over the years, was that to my surprise, the first 15 Typhoons were already gone, RTP, stored. So much for my intel

the reasons for me to visit Coningsby was always the visiting aircraft, being Saudi Arabian Tornado's or Indian Su.30's or because we had some time to kill ( 2019 was such an visit, waiting for ZZ666 returning to Waddington). And as long as we are there, just snap a few of those Typhoons. To my surprise, I saw a few of them. And most of them having squadron markings. Well, done talking, ready to get bored or get out 8) Oh, I have chosen to select as many different shots as possible, even when this means that the picture itself is a bit of lesser quality.

ZH588 being the first of all RAF Typhoon's, unfortunaly I never saw her. I did see ZH590, tucked away at a shed of IWM Duxford in 2009. 6 mm and still not enough wide angle on this snapshot camera.
