Hello,
I'm planning a (spotting) trip to Croatia this summer to Zagreb and Osijek. Zagreb for the MiG-21s and then to Osijek with the L410 as a day trip. My question is what spotting in Croatia is like. Is it allowed? Are scanners allowed? Is the police bad with cameras near military bases and how often do the MiGs actually fly?
Hope to hear some feedback, thanks in advance,
Zonan

Re: REQ: spotting in Croatia
Hi,
I was there around Zagreb in August 2015 when they had anniversary celebrations and things were generally easy... except when there were El Al planes movements (take off or landing). Then the police popped up and was very nervous and we had to leave the zone near the fence for a period of time. I don't know if this was a kind of tolerance due to the event, maybe some other replies will tell you.
Regards,
Guy
