Frisian Flag + weekend
Hi all,
Being in Asia this week for work, and with time limitations next week, I have to consider a hit and run coming weekend.
Are the aircraft parked as in previous years, i.e. mostly north of the runway, and the TLG-31 Typhoons near + in some shelters on the South side?
Thanks for some input!
Regards
Martin

Last weekend i was there, the American Eagles can be seen from the trachk near Jelsum spooters area.
The German Typhoons can be seen from the spotters hill at Marsum.
Didn't try to see the other aircraft, hope this helps.

Re: Frisian Flag + weekend
Hi Tony,
Many thanks. Similar to last year, as I expected. I need to try and get a current situation for Friday evening / Saturday morning in this case, hoping that all missing ones for me are outside. Indeed only some Eagles plus some Typhoons is what I need.
Best regards
Martin

Re: Frisian Flag + weekend
Many Thanks GIPS!
So 2 of the Typhoons (sorry for using that name ;o) have disappeared in shelters again, like last year. I got thumb up for next Friday off, so it seems I am coming for the departures. More fun, too!
Best regards

Mirages are also parked outside, just like the belgian f-16s. Both parked at south side. Visible from south and west side of the airfield.

Re: Frisian Flag + weekend
So we are at Leeuwarden now.
At the north side the 12 Eagles are very well visble
Also 8 Klu F-16's : J- 144, 135, 509, 002, 628, 879, 362 and 632
At the south side:
First the Germans 7x? : 31+36, 31+40, 30+98, 31+34, ......, ....., 31+31
Second the Torado's 6x: code 025, 136, 031, 019, ..... and .....
Third the Mirage. Four or five???
Last 7x the Belgiums F-16's.
How can help us with the Euffies gapes? And maybe can tell us if there are 4 or 5 Mirages outside at the moment.
