SNN Monday 02nd January,

It looks like ATR42 T7-LBA out of Mönchengladbach (EDLN/MGL) is heading your way as of 16:40Z. This airplane is destined for the Columbian Police-and as such (just about) qualifies as a military posting.

The airplane's progress can be followed on ADS-B, planefinder and FR24. Currently at FL240 over South Wales.

Correct registration of the bird would be T7-LBA (photoproof)

Evidentually both were showing on FR24.

T7-LBA on both ADS-B and planefinder. It has just coasted in south of Wexford at 17:10Z.

FR24 is still showing both T7-LBA (on the map) and T7-LRA in the main text.

Still at FL240 as of 17:17Z.

Lost on FR24 @ 17:37Z at 3,800'. It would appear this ATR will have landed by 17:45Z.

Sorry to correct, but the P-3 was not 162772.

It was an unidentified P-3SPA from VPU-2 masquerading as the above, but there are a number of external differences.
