Hi Canberra,

The 5062 is a misread, we were there shortly after you were there. The correct serial is 5082, checked from both sides. His left flank was pretty dirty, which made the 8 look like a 6, but it was an 8, 100% sure and clearly visible from the other side as well..

I can confirm 50+82 being the correct Trall. 50+88 carried an LTG61 badge, the rest carried LTG63 badges.

Only 35 C-160D are now remaining in service with LTG 61 (until late 2017) and LTG 63. The Luftwaffe will buy 4-6 C-130J Hercules to supplement the A.400M and the Transall. They will be based in France (possible Orleans-Bricy) together with the French Hercy fleet.
