When traveling by train through Sion, the track goes along Sion airport with pretty good sight on runway, parkings, ...
For some year, a few old civil aircraft, none of them looking airworthy, are visible.
Among them is what remains of an old (probably) British transport aircraft : fuselage, (twin) tail, cockpitt and wing sections until the engines (which, themselves) are missing.
I think it may be a Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer.
Difficult to make a godd picture from a running train and throgh the window. This plane doesn't look to bear any marks.
