A busy day today at Geilenkirchen. These were the large birds:
8.13 departure unidentified E3 from runway 09.
9.23 dep KC135 71469 from runway 09 (the KC135 with the coloured tail was broken and remains in Geilenkirchen over the weekend).
9.57 E3 LX-N90443 broke off departure on runway 09, taxied to the other and departed from runway 27 at 10.06.
10.57 Travel Service 737 OK-TVR landed on runway 09 (it departed again after half an hour or so).
11.01 dep E3 LX-N90455 from runway 09; it made an overshoot at 11.11 and then continued due east.
12.02 OO-TFA (a 757 of the Belgian air force) landed on runway 27. Parked between the E3s and the tankers.
13.57 approach of E3 LX-N90455 on runway 27; no landing.
14.01 touch and go of E3 LX-N90455.
