Phantoms, Phantoms and Phantoms

Post by 32FIS »

In June 1988 I have been to Canada to attend the London, Ont. Airshow which had as theme the 30th anniversary of the F-4 Phantom. At this airshow the organizers managed to get 30 + F-4’s of all kind of different units from the USA and Germany together.
Hereby some of my pictures of this visit more than 25 years ago when the F-4’s where still very active around the world. I hope you enjoy them.

Stunning line up.

"Niet alles was vroeger beter, maar een phoop toch wel!!!" :respect:

Was there in 1991 for the first time; a very nice show too but 1988 was THE show to be at!!
And just think of it: it was a civil airport, just like Rotterdam the Hague Airport.....
A shame they stopped this show at the end of the 90's.
