Martien, please be advised. The Idiots on the pictures are Dutch, but the language here is English, as we would also like to show our foreign friends how good looking we are.

Something all of you might appreciate is Martin Herberts Archief: Its here:

AFAIK they're all still 'around'...
Erwin is the one you miss and the one who did TU. Patrick quit plane spotting at some time I believe (was more into armoured vehicles) and Ron is and was a die-hard spotter. The three of them were Scramble's fixed source for Soesty moves for years: 'E+P+R Duurland'.Erik
How do you like this....quote...quote...quote....!!!???

I met one of the Duurland brothers (believe to remember this was the youngest) somewhere around 2000 at the OCTD (Dutch Army Technical School) in Soesterberg where I was on class.
I was in the Leopard 2 turret class as a student, he was Sergeant-Major instructor in the Leopard 1 PRTL class. The Duurland brothers were also battle tank fanatic in the old days, so...one of them made his profession out of it.
It wasn´t my hobby , (but I work with this heavy junk now too) ...and I am sure this will never be my hobby

Guess that must be 'P', both due to his interests and to what I think I know about E+R's professions.

this was on 30 APRIL 1984, Queens Day.
A representation of Spotting Group Soesterberg on deployment at Schiphol, trying to learn to understand civil-spotters.
It goes without saying, that back then, the result was negative

I think the Schiphol visit was on April, 1 1984.
If anybody is interested in a report (civil), please let me know.
