Visitors today, Thursday 20th, were KC-130J 167925/QD from VMGR152 and C-17A 66154 Travis. Overflying at 17.00 LT was AH-1Z 168961/SN47 (formerly "UV") Unfortunately, due to being noisy and smelly the P-3s and P-8s (plus C-12s and UC-35s) are now housed on the "base" side of then runway, nose on to Up Kitty, merde! They can be read from "round the bend", but it was 37degrees, could I be bothered? All 12 deployed Guard F-16s have been identified, a mix of COs and WIs but mainly appear to be ex USAFE (TJ). Again, dull. Would have been better rereading F-15s and P-3s from my balcony at Naha, log too long to post just yet .....
I forgot to mention the serials of the Vipers: CO 86-0339, 86-0345, 87-0227, 0241, 0254 & 0279, WI 87-0234, 0258 (u/m), 0260, 0262, 0288 & 0298.
