Ah yes, that exercise is also ending today. The weather is terrible here though, think I'll stay home.

EP-3E 161410 just departed to the south-east, after arriving from Mildenhall last night. Using the same callsign: VVPR410.
KC-135R Roma91 indeed seemed to have supported Blue Flag participants. After orbiting off the Israeli coast this morning it's on its way back towards the NW.

SJ Eagles are at Larissa till Nov. 12th.. After supporting "Castle Forge", the SJ AFB's F-15E's of the 336th FS "Rocketeers" will reportedly deploy to the Middle East for a total 6 month tour in the "sand pit"!

Thanks Paul!
An unusual sight today: a totally deserted ramp.. Only the French A400M is still parked at the end of the northern taxiway on the far west side (NAMFI probably).

Noted here earlier today:
0110/F-RBAR A400M ET4/61 spcl marks
35784 C-130J-30 41AS
15745 C-130J-30 61AS
164598/AX KC-130T-30 VR-53
ZH874? C-130J (RRR5507)
An EP-3E went out on a mission along the north African coast, just returned. Will check my photos later for the RAF Herc serial. And a Hellenic Embraer arrived this morning, was still there but didn't bother reading it.

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
Today saw another RAF visitor: ZZ171 unloaded some heavy equipment on the US ramp, C-17A with special 20 years markings. Just departed again as RRR6408, heading NW.
An RAF Voyager with a (flight of) Typhoon(s) was operating just north of Crete, on their way to the SE and suddenly banked north, seemingly landed at Athens (at least the Tiffie(s) did)..

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
Confirmed, came overhead the restaurant. Too dark to id. It just left again (7:30 pm LT) as RRR127, heading NW.
What was id'd today during an hour or so in the afternoon:
534 F-16C 340 Mira
536 F-16C 340 Mira
602 F-16D 340 Mira
503 F-16C 343 Mira
513 F-16C 343 Mira
525 F-16C 343 Mira
527 F-16C 343 Mira
615 F-16D 343 Mira
00219 C-17A 62AW dep
44136 C-17A 305AMW
38887 KC-135R 100 ARW
91470 KC-135T 100 ARW dep
Early in the morning a Hellenic AF AEW&C EMB145 was doing some circuits. The ARIES followed its usual pattern, leaving later in the morning and recovering, again, after sunset.
I am now pretty sure the former Zeus Viper from 343 sqn is indeed 503, as suggested by another forum member. Today I snatched it during golden hour on its other side. Still very vague, but putting my money (not that there's much left of that..) on 503.
Cheers, Bart

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
Final log from here for now from me. Wasn't planning on going today but the Sentry appeared overhead while I was just parking at a minimarket 10 mins from the base, and runway 11 happened to be in use. It made an IFR approach before landing, so I managed to catch it along with a wave of Vipers coming back:

536 F-16C 340 Mira arr
50+86 C160D
80-0139/OK E-3C arr
165832 C-40A
Arriving at the moment (6 pm LT) are another USN C-40 and KC-135T 91470 returning from another mission over the Black Sea.
That's all folks! Handing over to Paul from next week. I will try to post some photos when I'm back.

An RAF RC135 should also be operating out of here.
