Embraer doesn't want to miss out either:

Azul Linhas Aéreas (AD/AZU) has announced an order for an additional 5 E195s. This order brings their total E-Jets ordered to 41.

All day I have seen reports on it, but haven't found a reliable source for it (that is, a source that I can read).Yet it seems to be true: Saudi Arabian is ordering 12 B777-300ER. This was an unidentified order until now.

An order that is confirmed by Boeing is another B737 order. Norwegian exercises purchase options for 15 B737-800.

A new day, a new set of orders....

First is a sale for the Sukhoi SuperJet 100! Kartika of Indonesia (say who?) will buy 30 SuperJets. Source

Next one, a little closer to reality (...) is Flybe ordering a whopping 35 ERJ.175 plus 65 options and 40 purchase rights! According to the article on Bloomberg this is not to replace the DHC-8.

Nice start of the day :worship:

Avolon Leasing, based in Ireland, has announced an order with Boeing for 12 B737-800s.
Avolon is a fairly new company (launched in May), so I believe that this is their first order for new aircraft.

Also, Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ/RJA), has been identified as the customer for 3 B787-8s previously listed as being for an unidentified customer.
The airline now has 7 of the type on order, and also lease arrangements for an additional 4.

The orders are coming thick and fast now:

Azul Linhas Aéreas (AD/AZU) after yesterdays order for additional E-Jets, has announced an order with ATR for 20 ATR72-600s. The deal also includes options on an additional 20 of the type.
This is the first turboprop/non-Embraer order for this airline.

Source

Also, LAN Airlines (LA/LAN) has signed a MoU with Airbus for 50 A32Xs. The deal apparently includes 10 A321s, which will be the first of the type in the LAN fleet if the deal is firmed up.

- Golden Air (DC/GAO), Sweden, ordered 2 ATR72-500s. Source.

- Lao Airlines (QV/LAO), Laos, also ordered 2 ATR72-500s. Source.

And do not forget the order from Air Lease Corp (ALC) for 20 E-jets. The article on Reuters does not mention types, but another source mentions ERJ.190s (unconfirmed).

Sukhoi has booked another order:

Orient Thai Airlines (OX/OEA), has ordered 12 SSJ100s, and taken options on 12 more.
I suspect that these will be operated by Orient Thai's subsidary One-Two-Go on mainly domestic flights.

Still from yesterday: Hong Kong Airlines signed an MOU for 15 A350XWB and 10 A330-200. The 15 A350XWB are a conversion of a previous order for 15 A330.

More info on the Airbus site.

Another one that slipped through the cracks yesterday:

New leasing company Air Lease Corp., announced an order with Boeing for 54 B737-800s with options for another six.
This makes it orders (or MoUs) with Airbus, ATR, Boeing, and Embraer for this company at Farnborough.
