Ah I was not aware another one (number eight) came in this morning...Bunzing wrote:NH90 that departed was same one as arriving 40 min earlier. Should be 78+28, but unable to read because of distance. Re: Vliegbasis Deelen 2018
All seven German NH-90s were seen and confirmed this evening (so 78+23 and 79+10 from THR 10 and 78+36, 78+37, 78+39, 79+02 and 79+15 from THR 30, with units taken from this board since they carry no markings). Just follow the path from the parking lot till you come at the old compass. From there you can already see them through the trees, so you can stay legal
To read them off you will have to walk to the fence from here, which is only some 25 meters.
Happy hunting!

By the way:
I believe you immediately! Funny however that in the publication of the MoD at https://www.defensie.nl/onderwerpen/fal ... er-oefenen they are (still) speaking of Militair Luchtvaarterrein Deelen....Oja, klein detail: Het is tegenwoordig weer Vliegbasis Deelen, geen MLT meer.

All THR 30 aircraft DO carry a unit badge behind the cockpit window, black on green. The other 2 indeed have no markings.patrick dirksen wrote:All seven German NH-90s were seen and confirmed this evening (so 78+23 and 79+10 from THR 10 and 78+36, 78+37, 78+39, 79+02 and 79+15 from THR 30, with units taken from this board since they carry no markings).
Re: Vliegbasis Deelen 2018
A closer look at some very distant pics reveal that 78+28 is very likely to be the correct serial of the visiting NH90.Bunzing wrote:NH90 that departed was same one as arriving 40 min earlier.
