Have any times for the Spottersday been announced? I see previous years it was open 10.00-16.00. Need to book hotel between Geilenkirchen & St Dizier so just trying to determine where. CG3

info from fb : the general plan is so far 10:30-17:30 local time for landing slots

Still waiting on the final list to be published on the website. Still looks like a very nice event. How is it like in Germany to use scanners? Allowed or not at all? Planning to go as from thursday the 29th to see some action ...

Officially it is forbidden, but they tolerate them as long as you are transitting to another country and batteries are removed during the stretch through Germany.
