Step ladders are allowed during park and view as well as during the show itself; but only in a designated area!!
Thanks guys!

So guys, what's your recommendation; P&V West or East for Departure Day?

Cheers!

Depends on the winds. Still too early to say, else FRIAT, if you want to part with all that money.

With winds mostly coming from the west you can view and take pictures almost from al the airplanes attending RIAT 2015 when you go to P&V east. (take off runway 27)
But these pictures are rather boring..(airplane on runway), when you go to P&V west you can make spectaculair take off pictures.
Maybe from half of the planes that depart, the other half will be to high already...

it's a mather of personal preference.

Great news from RIAT

The Royal International Air Tattoo 2015 will witness a British airshow 'first' when the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) displays two examples of its Kawasaki P-1 four-jet maritime patrol aircraft - one in the static park and the other in the flying programme.

P-1s 5504 and 5507 are quoted by a Tokyo based source as the 2 airplanes that departed Atsugi on the 10th July en route to the RIAT.
