Significant snowshowers expected again after 1900z with up to 5cm snow again... and after 2100 changing into freezing rain... will be a long night....

I should have said De-icing capacity was not a problem..it was runway capacity that was the bottleneck..

@ T7,

In my opinion de icing capacity was a problem as well. De icing was suspended several times today and when
it resumed only a few "priority" flights were selected for de icing. Most of these flights were KLM flights and
partners. It was "confidential" what these priority flights were. All other flights were put on a list without
any sequence number what so ever. It was chaos at snowdesk frequency.

Dont get me wrong, de icing is doing a good job, but I dare to say de icing was a problem as well! At least
in my experience, however todays conditions were just extraordinary.

Afijn, het was een mooie dag om met de kleine op Centrum rond te hangen: "veel sneeuw hè papa?" Maar, voor zijn eigen logboekje (hij weet het nog niet maar hij heeft ook een eigen logboekje ;-)): welke Cathay 744 was er, welke Maleisische 744 en welke Garuda A330? Alvast namens Max, dankjewel!
