Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Hi all,
I've seen some great stuff among the already huge stack of photos displayed here.
Here's my contribution:
1.
Flyby of F-WWDD
2.
Roll-out on 18R
3.
Where can I sign-up to become a VIP or something like that
4.
Taxiing to E, just crossed the Schipholtunnel
5.
Moving slowly, but gracefull. Note the retro Martinair B767 taking off
6.
A380 vs. VW Touran
8.
B744 vs A380
Well, I hope you like them! I certainly enjoyed being here today! But... when coming home, and reading the article about the A380 in the Algemeen Dagblad on page 6, finding my own name in it was also very funny
Greets,
Andres Bolkenbaas

Normally parking is indeed forbidden on the east side of the Ijweg but due to A380 they made a exception. Traffic controllers were also there to prevent problems. The light was, when the sun was looking to us, perfect from thereMainPower wrote: Just a stupid questing, is there not a parking-ban these days at that spot?
BTW ... both sides are ijweg, right?
Thumbs up for those people
ps more pics will follow tomorrow

Jup, 53... bunch of idiots.
By the way, Derice, if you've found any advice/tips on saving the backlight shots, feel free to share. I think we've been camping at the same site, so I've got a whole bunch of these shots as well.
Oh, and before I forget, wonderful shots so far!
EDIT: The different regi on the nosewheel doors is the future reg, A6-VNO, which will be the very first A380 Flying Palace! Got that one quite a bit ahead of its time .

This is just ridiculous,
The people that work on airside operations have the privilege the be on that side of the fence.
I understand your frustration but things like that happen all the time! Certainly in this case it wasn't done on purpose.
That yellow truck wasn't the only one that I heard that some more had some angry people shouting at them.
Get over it, deal with it!
Perhaps, Did somebody caught the yellow truck with 55 on the side on photo? at front of the a380

I know that they can do what they want,in first place we asked them to move a bit the nice way.just 20-30 meters more to the south and they would have been out of the way.Delta12 wrote:This is just ridiculous,
