Should be 50+86 from WTD61, so probably returning to Manching.frank kramer wrote:Over Almere just now, heading south-east (to Cologne?) a Transal calling GAFW14

I did... but only AFTER my reply to Ernesto
And of course, being a WTD-61 aircraft and callsign, it IS something you don't hear every day. Thanks for clearing it up; it was a nice catch (if I do say so myself )

Re: Wie wat waar vliegt daar - 2018 MIL
Was clearly visible and hearable over Arnhem around 10pm. Now close to Saarbrücken and descending so I guess it is going into Ramstein for the night. Callsign according to ADS-B is RCH1007 by the way. Can these change en route?Wolbie wrote:21.37lt RCH1008 AC-130W 88-1302 over the North Sea heading southeast FL210, approaching northern North-Holland coast (source ADS-B). 21.52lt visual over Nijkerk heading southeast.

Although it doesn't happen very often, callsigns can technically change en route (e.g. to avoid callsign confusion).Basman wrote:Was clearly visible and hearable over Arnhem around 10pm.
