ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Pssst... English area...

Wim, absolutely great. That Friday evening turned out to have much more to offer than one would have expected during the day. (Wish I had known that, might have rescheduled ;) ).
Thanks! :good:

Hi...

I just wondered, are those Photo Flying Days only accessable for members / participants that are going to fly with the SkyVan or are there also people allowed that want to stay on the ground and do the "groundwork"????

Grtz.

It's already been two weeks and I am still working on photos of the Academy. Time does fly.

Just like last year, I once again had a great time at Zoersel. Meeting old friends and making new ones. So, to all organizers, participants, volunteers and everyone I might forget: THANKS!
Hope to see you all next year.

And now for some photos:

1. The "old" runway markings at EBZR. For the photoflyingdays only, the runway threshold was displaced and new markings were applied.

2. Re-enactor in front of the Hurricane.

3. Hurricance at sunset

4. We also had an excellent lecture on how things were done in the 60's by Guy Putman.

5. Safety first! Harnesses are available to secure all 11 photographers to the aircraft on a Skyvan photoflight.

6. Spitfire, with Charlie Brown at the controls, takes to the air for a photoflight.

7. It's probably safe to say that the model shoots were a great succes at this year's Photoflyingdays and Air-2-Air Academy.

8. Nobody escapes the signing of the passenger list when getting aboard the Breitling DC-3 at Antwerp, not even the crew. A very, very big THANKS to Eric Coeckelberghs for putting me on the flight!

9. Arrival at Zoersel with a Fly-By and 360 turn.

Time for the Air-2-Air part.

10. Gorgeous Corsair.
