Hey Menno,
Those are some nice new angles, awesome shots there! Love the head-on turn shots. Where did you take the last picture? That is a very nice spot

@ MA S017, Nustyr, Eric, Yespur, Bas, Europarad and Mick: thanks guys, much appreciated
@ Blokkie: this is the 300 mm that i showed you when we met the other time indeed.
@ aviodromefriend: like Yespur allready said, it's on optical illusion. distance between the plane and the bird was about 500 meters i guess.
@ Martijn and Torchus: The 747 was departing from 24/06, the landing plane in the far background came in on east runway 22. Due to severe winds they had a different runway configuration. Departure from 24/06 and 27/09 (lining up at mc donalds) and even the 18R was in use for approach. that is where several aircrafts had to abbort there approach and do it over again. And then of course runway 22 (Schiphol east) was in use for the mid sized planes (737 and similar stuff). The 24\06 was allso in use for approach (heavy's only), so not only for take off. So as you can imagine, it was quite a different runway configuration.....
Regards Menno

Hi Menno
a few taken from the visitor's terrace, indeed difficult conditions with strong wind for sharp shooting
beautiful, rare, and unique view from the terrace to see the landing heavy's on runway 24

Hi Maarten,
Thanks! your second picture is great, a total different perspective, including a KLM T7, a KLM 73 and a retro tail of a KLM 73, great shot! probably will never happen again in this setting......
