FedEx Express (FX/FDX), has announced that it has signed an order with Boeing for an additional 4 B777Fs.
Combined with the airline's original order for 15, plus 4 more "second-hand" (two from Air France, and two from another unknown source), this brings the current total of the type they have on order to 23.

Boeing received a big order from Russia, according Luchtvaartnieuws.
Rostekhnologii has ordered 50 Boeing 737 (versions to be specified) that will be used by Aeroflot. Probably not as a replacement for the large number of A320s they already have, but to equip the other airline divisions that become part of Aeroflot.

Finnair has ordered 5 Airbus A321 according Luchtvaartnieuws.
But the big news here is not 5 more A321 to Finnair (they have 6 already), but that these will be of the ER variant to replace the B757. They will be equipped with winglets! Since when are these winglets on offer?

Thanks! I had heard of the program before, but never knew it was announced already. Especially so for the A321. Nice to see, although I hate those surfboard shaped winglets, so lets see how this affects the Airbus family...
