Phantoms at Soesterberg
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Re: Phantoms at Soesterberg
These F-4F's are not flying anymore according several publications. When I took this pics these Phantoms were flying with JBG35, Pferdsfeld and there were two of them that day at Soesterberg AB: wednesday 13-07-1983. (I was only 16 years old!).
37+54, 38+11 F-4F JBG35, full-stop
Unfortunally I noted some sort of black spot at the fuselage...

2 more , a factory fresh F-4E which came in to keep the Russians away, and one which already knew how to do :nuke them away (48 TFW Warshaw pact central heating!)
This one with the tiseo, which didn't worked as expected, I heard. (Americans try everything before they come with the right solution- C de Gaulle)
And the one who from the 48 TFW with a well praticed concept to deliver.

I thought somewhere in Denmark.

Try http://sharpshooter-maj.com/html/deploy85.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, there you can find (nearly) all info about these kind of exercises.
(mmm, seems like a second similar response today...... http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic. ... 62#p326162" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Re: Phantoms at Soesterberg
Thanks for the compliments. I made the images from K25 slides with the "Roel Reijne methode" with a Nikon D-200 and 60 mm 2.8D Nikkor micro lens. You can see on his website:
http://www.foto-expositie.nl/tips.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. After that they have been in PhotoShop and Neat image programes.
