Just wondering:

Without revealing to much details, is there already any news about a possible sale? It is just a shame that these 4 well maintained and unique aircraft are stored at the moment, although the "unique" part is perhaps the main reason for that..

I can say that rumours go that they won't be sold in the near future. Add the news that delivery of the new C130's is delayed and the Klu has insufficient transport capabilities, you can draw your own conclusions.... Keep in mind that it's just a rumour!!!

Well, I would love to see this rumour becoming reality!

I think that I was not the only one out there who was a bit surprised when these 4 unique birds were stored well before their "replacements" arrived.

Given the fact that there are still some active and almost identical Fokker 50's out there crew training should be quite easy although I'm not sure how many crews already switched to other aircraft in the last 2 years.
