Actually you can, if you go to to most Northern edge of level 5, close to some stairs to the level below (at least, you could last Monday evening).

But indeed, as you are still relatively low, it is way harder to distinguish each helicopter, compared to from the top.

That is not what I said, if you go into to the top bit a scope is not very usefull as you rotated around the tower and have no fixed point.

Ah, I misunderstood your comment about a "rotating ride"...

Anybody with a picture of the view from the Euromast? Of the choppers I mean, before somebody sends a nice regular view....

If you just want to do a count of the choppers, then the easiest and cheapest way is to just go to the Waalhaven Noordzijde. You can easily count all of them.

I don't doubt that Richard, but as we all know different people have different spotting "morals". Just seeing the rotor heads of some of them doesn't do it for me...

If I don't want to try from Euromast just counting, are there these days still serials to read from harbour side ( so close by). Apaches with white last three? And the 4 Chinook should be well visible I guess? How many serials to read or heli's to ID from nicknames etc I can expect? It's a long drive for me and I have already 26 of them caught in EHEH.
Best spot is this Broekhoven gate (north) for serials?

The Broekman gate you can forget. Choppers barely visible because of Army vehicles parked in front of the helo’s. You can read very few helicopters from the other positions, also because of containers surrounding the helo’s
