It has nothing to do with the fact that the official Spangdahlem shows pictures (taken by the PAO of Spangdahlem) with infrastructure, that one should post such pictures as well.
As Pjotrtje said, it is just not to f*** up for your fellow spotters visiting Spangdahlem.
With the many deployments the number of spotters coming to Spangdahlem have increased substantially.
Be aware, Polizei and MP allow us being at the fence of the base, but stipulate not to take pictures 'into the base'.
Just adhere to that rule and we will still have fun with our hobby the coming years.
And Paul, you have a fair point : surely the Vietnamese will also not like this kind of pictures.
But yes, we do like to see these pictures, mainly as they are not a common sight.
But please don't compare apples with oranges : keep in mind that 1. Vietnam has been known as 'difficult' in respect to our hobby, and 2. the number of spotters going to Vietnam and try to make some nice pictures at the fence is most likely a bit different compared to the number of spotters enjoying a day of spotting at Spangdahlem.
