Kiev: Ukraine media claims that U.S. has sent ships to Black Sea including aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush.
“In response to the Russian invasion of the U.S. sent the aircraft carrier strike group in the direction of the Black Sea, to be able to react to developments on the Crimean peninsula in Ukraine”,claimed Ukrainian media

According to "De Telegraaf" the USAF wil also send 12 F-16s to Poland next week. Homebase is unknown at this moment, but both Aviano and Spangdahlem are not deployed at the moment

F-22 on ground of course. The author is not english spoken and make several shortages.

Poland's defence ministry has confirmed that the US military will send 12 F-16 fighter jets and 300 service personnel to Poland next week for a training exercise whose scope was expanded in response to the crisis in neighbouring Ukraine.

New helicopter base are to be formed this year in Alakurtti (Karelia) north of St Petersburg.
Alakurtti is an old army division base, cutdown in the last 15 years.
With the new Putin era is Alakurtti helicopter base formed together with an Motor Rifle Brigade.
A new OSK is also formed.
Russia today have four OSK (former large Military Districts).
Western OSK (St Petersburg) old Leningrad and Moscow Military Districts.
Southern OSK (Rostov-on-Don) ex North Caucasus.
Central OSK (Yekaterinburg)
Eastern OSK (Khabarovsk)
and the new
Arctic OSK.
To the OSK belongs Northern Fleet and the ground units in area together with 61 Marine Rifle Regiment in Sputnik and 200 MS Brigade in Pechenga. All air units in area are also to be subordinated.

Polish Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak confirms that 12 American F16s and 300 troops will be sent to Poland next week for practice, according to Reuters.
It will be a more extensive practice than what was initially the plan, which should be viewed in light of the increasing tension in Ukraine. The two countries have a 40 mil long common border.
According Siemoniak was the exercise, that are located in Lask base in central Poland, initially thought to only involve transport aircraft. The Minister stated that the decision on the increased scale taken after a request from Poland, when it became clear that Russia had intervened on the Crimean peninsula.
